Plans are already underway for The City of Lancaster Gymnastics Club to move into the building.
Chairperson of the club, Marie Gardner, has already met with the owners of the park to transform the new building into a top class training venue.
The chairperson, said: “We’ve been looking for another venue for a while now, as we wanted to keep it close to the existing facilities at the University.
“Lots of parents bring their children to us after school and at weekends, so we wanted somewhere that’s easy to get to, with good parking.
A multi award-winning disabled children’s charity, Unique Kidz and Co’s dream for a new purpose built centre of excellence is on the way to becoming a reality with the building now taking shape at Lancaster Leisure Park.
But the charity urgently needs to raise £75,000 before April next year so that it can equip the centre with the essential equipment it needs to open.

We didn’t forget about our younger visitors either. Children were treated to balloons, face painting, rides, magic and an indoor soft play area.
